When To Do Pest Control
There’s no perfect time, but we recommend treatments based primarily on if you are seeing bugs. It’s simple enough, but some people may think they need to treat “all the time” to keep pests from taking over their house. This is very rarely the case.
Pests around Austin Texas are most active in warmer months and in particular spring through summer and sometimes into the fall, depending on the weather that year.
Pests multiply and become active starting typically around April, and by June or July they’re usually out in full force.
So if you were to choose the “best” time it would probably be April or May if you want to get ahead of it, but if you aren’t seeing any pests yet like roaches or spiders or ants, then you really don’t need to treat.
Many of our customers even skip a year in getting a pest control service because they aren’t having any issues. Great!
We don’t require contracts and don’t even recommend quarterly or certainly bi-monthly or monthly treatments. If you’re getting a thorough pest control service you don’t need treatments that often!

We originally offered pest control using only natural, “organic” pest control products. While we still offer that service, we now combine those products with a low-toxicity, odorless, synthetic pyrethrin (crushed chrysanthemum flower), offering a longer-lasting residual effect.
