So if you’re having home pest issues, a first step could be to look and see if you have water that is either accumulating or leaking around your home.
A good place to start is just outside the home. Look for dripping exterior faucets, bib or hoses. Water coming out or accumulating in these areas can attract all types of pests.
Inside the house, look for faucets that leak or drip.
Look under sinks for any dripping or signs of moisture damage such as warped wood or cabinets.
If you have a higher than normal water bill, you may want to call a leak inspection company to determine if there is an unseen leak. Leaks can of course be costly, but they also can contribute to pest infestations in those areas.
