Bug Proofing a Home?
In most cases it’s nearly impossible to seal out bugs. As you might imagine, ants can get into virtually area with just the tiniest crack. Roaches similarly can wiggle through very narrow gaps. Just about every pest you can imagine get into a home if it finds a spot to do so. Even rodents like rats and mice only need a 1/4″ opening to gain entry!
With that in mind, trying to do preventive pest sealing can be a time-consuming and costly undertaking, one that likely won’t result in complete success.
You are better served just looking at door and window weatherstripping and replacing that so that you have a good seal on the most common entry points.
